Alliance
ALLiance brings together members of the LGBTQ+ community, as well as outside members, in hopes of: dismantling hurtful stereotypes, providing safe spaces of support, and encouraging overall community acceptance.
ALLiance
Our goals are to make CMU and Fayette's community safe, to facilitate activism on campus, and to create a welcoming environment of LGBTQ+ students and allies. We are working to build a network of support for non-heterosexual and transgender people, as well as raising awareness of homophobia and heterosexism.
An organization in which aims to fuse together community members through respect, acceptance, and support of all individuals regardless of sexual orientation and gender identity. CMU ALLiance respects you as you are. Diversity of all people is encouraged and discussed. We work to educate about, support, and advocate for sexual and gender minorities at Central Methodist University. This is a safe place to discuss and ask questions about the LGBTQ+ community (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer/Questioning, and others).
Meetings typically consist of introductions, icebreakers, question and answer sessions, and open discussion. This organization welcomes everyone at CMU to join in on this relaxed atmosphere, including all students, faculty, and staff.
ALLiance meets every Tuesday @ 8pm for location and details contact alliance@zo23.com
